Big Lots is now, Hills before that)? Maybe a friend or family member is

I believe this store was The Big R and Grants. Not Hills, Hills is now the Wegmans.
In the 2nd enlarged photo I see Peter Trendle in the tie in the back row. He was an assistant manager and Terry Kuca �� up front on the right. Terry was a very, very good friend in "our gang".

Big Lots was Ames, and before that, Hill's.
No where Wegmans is was never Hills
Wegmans was Zayres.
