I wonder how many folks remember that Haeberle Plaza used to be Haeberle Field, with baseball/softball diamonds? There were many Industrial League games played there and I recall watching my uncle, Bob Woodring, play baseball many a night. Then we'd go to LaHacienda for pizza and drinks - LaHacienda used to be located in the 900 block of Pine Ave where Spallino Towers currently sits. Those were the "good old days."
